Deputy Manager - Retail Liabilities Portfolio Team

Role Summary

We are looking for a high-performing professional to join the Retail Liabilities Portfolio team and drive growth and value creation within the Existing-to-Bank (ETB) customer portfolio.

The role focuses on accelerating Savings Account (SA) balance growth through customer activation, engagement, retention, and cross-sell strategies. The incumbent will leverage data analytics, portfolio insights, and business performance tracking to design and execute strategic interventions that deepen customer relationships, improve customer primacy, and enhance portfolio profitability.

This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of business strategy, analytics, customer lifecycle management, and portfolio growth while partnering with senior stakeholders across the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive ETB portfolio growth through data-led strategies focused on activation, retention, balance accretion, and customer deepening.
• Identify portfolio opportunities and customer segments to improve engagement, transaction behavior, and product holding.
• Develop and monitor key portfolio metrics, business dashboards, and performance scorecards.
• Analyze customer behavior, balance trends, attrition drivers, and campaign performance to generate actionable insights.
• Design and execute strategic initiatives to improve customer primacy and portfolio profitability.
• Collaborate with Product, Analytics, Digital, Channel, and Sales teams to implement portfolio growth programs.
• Support the creation of business cases, executive reviews, and management presentations for senior leadership.
• Track initiative outcomes and recommend continuous improvements to drive business impact.
• Ensure adherence to governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements while executing portfolio strategies.
• Lead and support high-impact projects focused on customer lifecycle management and liabilities growth.

What We Are Looking For

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to translate data into business actions.
• Experience in portfolio management, retail banking, liabilities business, business analytics, customer strategy, or consulting.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, or other analytics tools is preferred.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
• Self-starter with a growth mindset and strong execution orientation.
