Deputy Manager – Reconciliation

Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced accounting professional to join our Operations team as a Deputy Manager. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation of funding activities and maintaining the integrity of financial records.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting operations, with a strong focus on funding-related transactions
• Perform and review daily reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain and monitor accounting records, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline reconciliation processes and improve operational efficiency
• Prepare periodic reports and provide insights on reconciliation status and outstanding issues
• Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all reconciliation activities

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial operations
• 5+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Receivables and Bank Reconciliation process.
• Proven experience in reconciliation processes, especially related to funding and high-volume transactions
• Hands-on experience with accounting systems and financial tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
