About this role
Name of Position: Dy. Manager
1.Job Objective :-
To lead and drive quality assurance activities during new product development and project launch phases by ensuring effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and customer-specific requirements. Responsible for achieving First Time Right (FTR) part submission, ensuring compliance with customer standards, minimizing development-stage quality issues, and delivering projects on time through cross-functional coordination, proactive risk
management, and robust quality planning.
2.Key Role & Responsibilities :-
1. Initial Drawing Study & Study Customer Standards and prepare CSR.
2. Define special & Relation gauges concepts.
3. PPAP Documentation preparation & submission - PFD / PFMEA / CP / SPC
4. Conduct PFMEA meeting with CFT &Follow-up with CFT team for PFMEA Actions.
5.Maintain Project Tracker & ensure activity completion as per time.
6.DFM from QA
7.Monitoring Customer Complaints & ensure the action plan in place for development parts.
8.Maintain QMS/MIS Documents.
9.APQP Documentation
10.Attending Customer Calls, systemic resolution of open points
11.Routine Internal & External Communication.
12.To achieve the First Time Right Part Submission at customer end & Zero Complaints
3.Qualification & Experience Required :-
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Experience - 8 to 12 Years in Casting Industry/ Automotive Industry
4.Personal Characteristic :-
Analytical Skills, Problem Solving skills, GD&T Skills, communication skills.
Location:
At Manufacturing plants and Office Facilities situated in Chakan, Pune.

The Company currently operates its Sales & Marketing, and distribution warehouse out of Garner, North Carolina and Manufacturing facilities out of India. The company manufactures 18,000 different products across four plants situated in Pune (Pressure Die Casting Plant - Zinc, Pressure Die Casting Plant - Aluminum & Gravity Die Casting Plant - Copper Alloy) and three plants in Jaipur (Sand Casting Plant - Iron, Copper & Aluminum Alloy). The Company has a workforce of 3,000 persons (2,900 in India and 100 in the US) with revenues of USD 131 million for the year ended March 2014 and high profitability. The revenue break up comes from 20% sales into the Retail Market and 80% sales into the OEM and Custom business. The Company has about 20 core customers including Lowe's, ABB, Emerson, Hubbell, Cooper, Whirlpool, etc. Presently ~95% of the products manufactured in India are sold primarily to North American customers.
The strategy is to be a high service, low cost manufacturer of complex, high SKU, low volume custom metal components for the electrical, industrial, instrument and selected consumer markets in U.S., Europe and selected Indian markets.
