Job Summary

This position will be based at Ahmednagar Factory for Lauritz Knudsen Electrical Automation (A unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd.). Designation: Deputy Manager - Production. Qualification: Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical /Production Engg. Experience: Diploma - 5 to 10 Years; Degree - 4 to 6 years.

Responsibilities

• Achieve Annual/Monthly/Daily Production targets as per schedules.
• Improve quality level for production lines with root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Cost Saving through digitalization, automation, value engg, material productivity, labour productivity.
• Complete customer orders within 7 days.
• Continuous improvement through Lean/VSM/Poka-yoke/PFMEA projects.
• TPM Initiatives on shop floor.
• Safety Improvements.
• 5S Sustenance on shop.
• Improve labour productivity in shop.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge on manufacturing processes like fabrication and final assembly of electrical equipment.
• Familiar on understanding and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge on SAP or equivalent.

Functional Competencies

• Plan and execute daily/weekly/Monthly production schedules to meet target.
• Ensure compliance with safety and EHS standards.
• Address production issues related to materials, manpower, machines.
• Monitor and improve line efficiency, cycle time, and productivity.
• Training and skill development of technicians and operators.
• Implement Lean / Kaizen / 5S practices on the shop floor.
