Deputy Manager - Procurement

Mission: Lead Procurement operations, ensuring contracts are deployed and executed end-to-end from purchase requisition to payment, with accurate ordering, on-time supplier payments, compliance with Group policies and internal controls, process improvement and automation, and strong team leadership across multiple countries

Key Responsibilities: Contract Deployment & Management: Ensure contracts are properly implemented with Purchasing on the Request-to-Pay (R2P) scope, from purchase requisition to first invoice payment, including blanket and change orders, price setup, and catalogue updates.

Raw Material Procurement Planning: Implement the operational procurement plan from the sourcing plan for raw materials, and ensure it is respected, including supplier allocation ratios and long lead time orders.

Invoice & Payment Management: Manage invoice flows and resolve process issues, including on-hold invoices, to pay suppliers on time, and support the prepayment process where relevant to the scope.

Non-Conformity & Dispute Management: Analyze internal partner claims on quantity, price, delay, ordering, and invoicing, lead resolution with suppliers and stakeholders including cost recovery, and support contractual disputes.

Internal Controls & Compliance: Ensure all operational activities comply with internal control requirements, monitor conformity rates, and drive action plans following audits to maintain a strong control environment.

Team Leadership & Best Practices: Lead and develop the team, support buyers and Business Contract Managers, prepare R2P data for governance meetings, and share best practices and recommendations across regions.

CA / CA Inter / M.Com / MBA Finance; Lean / Six Sigma preferred

Location & Work Timing- Kharadi, Pune, Maharashtra (Hybrid- 3 days office, 2 days remote)

Timing- Shift-based, aligned to Europe, Asia, and Americas time zones.
