About this role
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Manage procurement activities from source to payment, ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize costs, improve quality, and enhance supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and develop contract requirements for vendors.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers, manage vendor performance, and resolve any issues that may arise during the contracting process.
Job Requirements :
- 5 to 9 years of experience in procurement or a related field within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of category management principles, including spend analysis and market intelligence gathering.
- Proficiency in SAP Ariba or similar procure-to-pay systems; experience with contract negotiations and vendor management is essential.
