Deputy Manager OR Assistant Manager - Fleet personnel Operation

Role & responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Checking and ensuring crew documentation is in order prior to further joining.
• Scanning and uploading various crew related documentation and updating in crewing software system.
• Communicating with on-leave well reported officers & ratings to retain for re-employment.
• Planning and allocating vessel basis of officers and ratings readiness for joining.
• Communicating with Vsl Master, agent and 3rd Party for arranging crew joining, request PDA etc.
• Ensuring that officers/ Crew are relieved on time and follow up for re-joining when available.
• Coordinating with Sr. Manager/Manager for interview of new Ex- candidates.
• Coordinating with Recruitment Team regarding joining of selected candidates.
• Coordinating with prospective candidates via email and phone calls.
• Salary negotiation with Officer's in accordance with the budgets set.
• Ensuring that salary is negotiated in line with wages structure based on experience of the candidates.
• Ensuring cordial interaction with floating staff for brand building and retention.
• Meeting and greeting walk in as well as joining officers.
• Clear written & verbal communication with candidates joining the vessels with regards to wages, employments terms & conduction & other employments terms.
• Ensuring joining crew documents are checked and are saved on time in Crewing software.
• Maintaining Various Circular, RPSL and ISO file and audit preparation done.
• Brand building during commutation to attract more competent officer's
• Communicating with Recruitment Team on regular basis for new-hand crew.
• Ensuring documentation checklists are filled and updated in system.
• Exercising proactiveness in sourcing officers for future crew change plans
• Arranging appraisal from master and chief engineer from respective superintendent and keeping record of the same
