Deputy Manager - Marketing

Role & responsibilities

• Identify new business opportunities, target markets, customer segments, and potential growth areas through market and competitor analysis.
• Drive new business development through RFQs, commercial negotiations, pricing, contracts, and order closure.
• Manage key customer accounts and maintain strong relationships to generate repeat and incremental business.
• Coordinate with R&D, Operations, and cross-functional teams to ensure customer requirements and project commitments are met.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, delivery, quality, and resolution of customer issues.
• Prepare annual budgets, sales plans, monthly forecasts, and conduct variance analysis with corrective actions.
• Support NPD projects by coordinating with internal teams for timely execution.
• Prepare and review MIS related to EBITDA, ROCE, MRM, costing, sales, and profitability.
• Manage product costing, pricing, GVA, price revisions, and commercial negotiations with customers.
• Ensure timely recovery of tooling costs and cost impacts arising from ECNs through appropriate PO revisions.
• Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on overdue customer payments.
• Manage RM and Forex hedging activities as per customer agreements.
• Review customer contracts and agreements, identify commercial risks, and translate customer requirements into actionable internal requirements.
