Deputy Manager/ Manager QMS - EMS Industry - Syrma SGS- Pune

Role & responsibilities

The Deputy Manager of QMS will supports the execution, maintenance, and continuous

improvement of the Quality Management System, ensuring strict compliance with IATF

16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO45001, ESD20:20 , TISAX etc standards for automotive

and non-automotive customers and should independently handle customer audits and their

audit closer within a given timeframe with CFT support.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance Maintenance: Support IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 system sustenance.

ensuring strict compliance with IATF 16949 standards for automotive customers.

• Audit Execution: Lead internal system, process (VDA 6.3), Lead Customer audit as

per their checklist, timely closer of all NCs, coordination with plant CFT and

escalation if any.

• CSR Integration: Deploy Customer Specific Requirements (CSR) into daily plant

workflows and related QMS documents

• Core Tools Application: Review and approve APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and MSA

documentation.

• Problem Solving: Monitor 8D reports, 5-Why analyses, and corrective action

implementation and incorporate them in lesson learnt doc and horizontally

deployment

• Document Control: Oversee the standard operating procedures modification

process, controlled documents availability on share folder and shopfloor without any

ambiguity.

• Performance Metrics: Track plant KPIs on monthly basis with CA wherever required

and report to plant head/Plant quality head and corporate quality

Preferred candidate profile

Education: Bachelors degree in mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.

• Experience 10+years in Automotive environment or EMS manufacturing plant handling premium automotive OEMs.

• Audit Expertise: Certified Internal Auditor for IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 is

mandatory.

• Core Knowledge: Hands-on experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, and SPC.

• MACE certification experience will be an added advantage
