Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose

The Deputy Manager - Learning (Sales) is responsible for delivering sales training sessions and supporting training logistics in their assigned zone. The role ensures effective execution of training programs, drives learner engagement, and works closely with respective Manager Learning (Sales) to support field capability building.

Primary Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Support

• Conduct and/or support delivery of training programs for sales teams
• Collaborate with trainers and facilitators to organize high-impact learning sessions
• Ensure setup, logistics, equipment, and learning materials are ready for training sessions

Training Coordination & Monitoring

• Schedule training sessions in consultation with zonal and store leaders
• Track training participant attendance and feedback
• Follow up with sales teams on post-training application and reinforcement

Learning Material Management

• Maintain updated training materials and session plans
• Customize content as per zonal/local sales requirements
• Support creation of digital assets and training aids

Stakeholder & Trainer Interaction

• Coordinate with trainers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
• Support external vendor onboarding, scheduling, and performance monitoring
• Ensure smooth execution of induction training for new sales employees

Training Reporting

• Submit reports on training delivery and effectiveness
• Analyse learner feedback and report insights for future training requirements
• Suggest improvements based on field observations and learner input

Job Specifications

Desired Experience

Candidates with Minimum 5-7 years of experience in learning & development, preferably in the retail or consumer-driven industry. CDIT front level sales stores sale executives training, Relevant Sales training experience will be an added advantage. Fiedld trainers , retail sales trainers.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field
