Job Description:

GST Return Filing & Compliance

• Preparation, review, and timely filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns GSTR-1, GSTR-3B
• Preparation and filing of Annual Returns GSTR-9 and GSTR-9C (reconciliation statement)
• Filing and tracking of Job Work related forms ITC-04
• Reconciliation of GSTR-2A/2B with books of accounts (ITC reconciliation)
• Reconciliation of GST liability with books of accounts and E-way bill/E-invoice data

Notices, Audits & Litigation Support

• Fact-finding, data compilation, and documentation for replies to departmental notices such as ASMT-10 (scrutiny notice), Show Cause Notices (SCN), GST Audit notices (ADT-01), and summons.
• Coordination with consultants/legal counsel for drafting replies and appeals
• Liaising with GST department officials for assessments, audits, and refund matters
• Maintaining notice trackers and ensuring timely responses within statutory timelines

Other Responsibilities

• Monitoring changes in GST law, notifications, circulars, and their impact on business
• Supporting internal and statutory auditors with GST-related data and documentation
• Working with cross-functional teams (Sales, Procurement, Logistics) to ensure GST compliance across the value chain
