Deputy Manager - Incoming Quality Control

Job Summary

Position Title: Deputy Manager - Incoming Quality Control. Work Location: Vadodara. Experience: 3-6 yrs.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for inspection and decision making of raw materials, components, and sub assys, including outsource Inspection.
• Develop and Maintain Quality Plans and ensure inspection records, test reports, and non-conformance reports.
• Lead root cause analysis of nonconformities / defects or failures and ensuring Implementation Corrective Actions to avoid recurrence.
• Coordination with functions like Design, Engineering, Purchase and Suppliers for various developments, activities.
• Support Supplier Quality System / Process Audit and improvement
• Developing gauges for error free inspection and Train quality engineers / inspectors on inspection techniques and standards.
• Work in all 3 shifts of plant operations

Functional Competencies

• Incoming Quality function experience preferably in electrical / Automobile manufacturing
• Hands on Experience of SAP QM, Minitab, SPC tools, 8D, DOE, MSA.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of xFMEAs, PPAP, APQP, GD&T, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO45001
• Six Sigma Certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma / B. E/B. Tech (Mechanical)
