Deputy Manager Exports (Gears & pinions)

Role & responsibilities

The role is responsible for overseeing and expanding the international sales of gears & pinions. It involves developing & implementing export strategies, managing international customer relationships, Key Account Management (OEM), ensuring compliance with global trade regulations and leading a team to achieve export sales target. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of the gearbox industry, international markets and exports logistics/documentation

Sales & Business Development

Manage & grow existing international accounts while identifying & targeting potential new customers

Conduct market research to identify potential markets & OEM

Export Strategy Development/Market Analysis & Reporting

Develop & implement comprehensive export strategies to drive business growth of gears & pinions in international markets

Identify new market opportunities & create market entry strategies tailored to specific regions like Europe/Australia

Logistics & Supply Chain Management

Coordinate with internal productions and logistics teams to ensure OTD

Manage relationships with freight forwarders, customers brokers, and other logistics partners & oversee warehouse operation

Financial Management/Compliance Documentation

Prepare & manage export budgets, forecast and pricing strategies

Monitor & report on sales performance, providing key updates to Management

Customer Relationship Management/Team leadership

Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers, distributors and agents

Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing concerns & resolving issues promptly

Preferred candidate profile

7-10 yrs of experience in export sale, preferably within the gearbox or industrial machinery
