The Team

Direct Tax helps businesses meet their tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements while providing advisory services on domestic tax matters.

Your Work Profile

• Manage direct tax advisory assignments and prepare tax opinions, short notes, and client responses.
• Handle direct tax compliance, including income tax returns, TDS, advance tax, tax provisioning, and SFT filings.
• Support tax assessments, litigation proceedings, appeals, and responses to notices from tax authorities.
• Conduct legal research and provide inputs on complex tax matters.
• Support tax technology solutions and end-to-end tax engagements.
• Assist with client coordination, engagement management, and business development.
• Collaborate with other teams and support the development of junior team members.

Key Skills Required

• CA with 2 to 5 years of relevant Direct Tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Indian Direct Tax laws.
• Experience in tax advisory, compliance, assessment, and litigation.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
• Good time management and attention to detail.
• Prior Big 4 or leading tax consulting firm experience preferred.
