Deputy Manager Business Development & Government Liaison

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and obtain statutory approvals including Township License, DPR, Layout, Maps, RERA, Environmental, Pollution, Ground Water and other regulatory clearances.
• Liaise with LDA, Government Departments, Regulatory Authorities and other statutory bodies for approvals and project-related matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Government Authorities, Consultants and key stakeholders.
• Prepare, submit, track and ensure timely closure of approval-related documents, compliance reports and statutory filings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Design, Projects, Finance, Legal and Sales teams for seamless execution of approvals.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and minimize regulatory and compliance-related risks.
• Maintain proper records of approvals, permissions, correspondence and statutory documents.
• Monitor approval timelines, compliance requirements and regulatory changes.
• Support legal coordination and resolution of government/approval-related issues.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, governance and turnaround time.

Desired Qualification

Bachelors Degree in Law, Business Administration, Management, Commerce or a relevant discipline.

Required Experience

• 812 years of relevant experience in Real Estate / Construction.
• Strong experience in Government Approvals, Liaisoning, Regulatory Affairs, Statutory Compliance and Legal Coordination.
• Good knowledge of local government authorities and approval processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate

Also Retired LDA / Government officials with relevant experience in government liaisoning, approvals, regulatory coordination and legal matters may also be considered.
