Deputy Manager - Banking

Job Description:

We are looking for a Deputy Manager Banking to manage day-to-day banking operations, trade finance documentation, bank account activities, and coordination with banks and internal departments. The role will support smooth execution of banking requirements, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely compliance with financing and banking-related requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Coordinate with local, regional, and national banks for account opening, onboarding, and ongoing banking requirements.

- Manage day-to-day banking activities across Group companies and departments.

- Coordinate Trade Finance transactions, including Letters of Credit, Bank Guarantees, and document negotiation.

- Handle export documentation and coordinate with relevant internal and external stakeholders.

- Support Trade Finance opportunities and coordinate with banks for transaction execution.

- Assist in fundraising and financing activities from documentation through closure.

- Coordinate with lenders and suppliers on financing terms and required documentation.

- Support initiatives related to finance cost reduction and optimization.

- Track and ensure compliance with conditions precedent and other requirements under credit facility sanction letters.

- Support preparation of finance cost budgets and variance reports.

- Assist in preparing preliminary presentations and teasers for Project Finance transactions.

- Coordinate employee and departmental banking requirements, including bank accounts, debit/credit cards, online banking users, tokens, statements, and balance confirmations.

- Maintain and update reports related to bank accounts, trade instruments, bank charges, export receivables, and credit exposure.

- Track relevant updates from regulatory authorities impacting banking and business activities.

- Coordinate with internal teams and banks to resolve operational and documentation-related issues.

- Ensure timely maintenance of banking records, reports, and supporting documentation.

Key Skills:

- 10 - 15 years of experience in Banking, Treasury, Corporate Finance, or related functions.

- Strong knowledge of banking operations and account management.

- Hands-on experience in Trade Finance, Letters of Credit, and Bank Guarantees.

- Experience handling export documents and export receivables.

- Knowledge of banking documentation and financing processes.

- Experience coordinating with banks, lenders, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

- Understanding of fundraising and financing activities.

- Knowledge of finance cost tracking, budgeting, and variance analysis.

- Experience supporting Project Finance transactions.

- Strong coordination, documentation, analytical, and follow-up skills.

- Good understanding of credit exposure, bank charges, and trade instruments.
