Deputy General Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Business Development: Drive annual order intake, revenue and profitability targets by identifying business opportunities and converting them into confirmed orders.
2. Customer Development: Build and strengthen relationships with EPC contractors, industrial groups, renewable energy developers, private utilities and infrastructure companies.
3. Tendering & Negotiations: Lead techno-commercial bid preparation, pricing strategies, tender submissions, commercial negotiations and order conversion.
4. Key Account Management: Develop strategic customer accounts, strengthen long-term relationships and secure repeat orders and high-value business opportunities.
5. Pipeline Management: Identify upcoming projects, track enquiries and tenders, monitor competitor activities, maintain sales forecasts and develop a qualified business pipeline.
6. Commercial Management: Ensure competitive pricing, targeted margins, commercially sound contract terms and timely payment collections.
7. Internal Coordination: Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Production, Quality, Testing and Projects teams to ensure technical feasibility, realistic delivery commitments and customer satisfaction.
8. Team Leadership: Lead and guide the sales team, establish individual and team targets, review performance and improve sales productivity.
9. Market Expansion: Identify new customers, industries and project opportunities within the domestic private-sector and EPC markets to expand the organisations market presence.
10. Business Performance & Reporting: Monitor order intake, revenue, profitability, tender conversion, customer acquisition and collections; provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to the COO.
