Deputy General Manager Environmental Health and Safety

Role & responsibilities :

1. Implement HSE management strategy and plans, including resource, systems, timelines, financials, to support, contribute to, and integrate within, the organizations annual business plan and long term strategy.

2. Implement and review site specific OHS and Environmental Objective & Targets

3. Development of new safety procedures and review and revision of existing procedures to ensure compliance.

4. Liaison with government agenise like GPCB, DISH etc.

5. To ensure EMS operates at optimum level effectively.

6. To assess risks and hazards and make effective recommendations for action and correction.

7. Insure preparation of Safety Manuals, training outlines and employee instructions for work deemed to have recognized hazards.

8. Plan and manage co-ordination with regulatory agencies to maintain all necessary environmental and safety regulatory licenses and permits, to include timely renewals and payments.

9. To carry out detailed technical, safety, hazard and environmental research including accident analysis and prevention techniques.

10. Investigate the causes of dangerous occurrences reportable under the Rule
