Job Summary
We are looking for an analytical and detail-oriented Deputy - Demand Forecast to support demand planning, rolling forecasts, and SAP Planned Independent Requirements (PIR). The role involves analysing historical sales data, business pipelines, seasonality, and project demand to improve forecast accuracy and ensure alignment between demand, production, and material planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse historical sales, booking data, order intake, and business pipeline to prepare accurate demand forecasts.
- Prepare rolling demand forecasts and coordinate monthly forecast reviews.
- Differentiate regular product demand from project-based demand for effective planning.
- Prepare and maintain SAP PIR inputs aligned with approved business targets.
- Apply ABC classification, sales trends, seasonality, and product-mix analysis to forecasting.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, forecast deviations, and demand exceptions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, PPC, Procurement, and Product teams to validate demand assumptions.
- Identify demand risks related to new product launches, product phase-outs, and changing business requirements.
- Support SAP forecasting, PIR updates, and exception management.
- Prepare forecast reports, dashboards, and performance analysis for management review.

- SAP S/4HANA and Planned Independent Requirements (PIR)
- Knowledge of SAP MD61 and MD04 is an advantage
- Advanced MS Excel, Data Analysis, and Reporting
- ABC Classification, Seasonality, and Trend Analysis
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Stakeholder Coordination and Communication
Educational Qualification
Graduate degree in Engineering, Statistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline. Additional qualifications in analytics or supply chain management are an advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience in demand planning, demand forecasting, S&OP, or manufacturing planning.
- Experience in analysing sales data, preparing forecasts, and coordinating with cross-functional teams.
- SAP exposure and strong Excel-based analytical skills are preferred.
