Deputy Area Manager - Professional Loans - Underwriting

The role will require a strong understanding of Professionals, industry knowledge market intelligence and underwriting processes at BFL to ensure that only credit worthy firms/Individuals are extended loans in line with BFL's risk policies. The incumbent will be responsible for underwriting loans in their specific locations, which will mostly be pre-qualified / pre-approved by the Risk team, and require quick processing TATs, in the following businesses: Professional Loans.

Monthly disbursements are expected to cross Cr in these businesses; thus each Credit Manager is expected to process Cr of loan applications.

• Underwriting of Loans to Professionals within defined time lines.
• Drive ownership of internal processes compliance with underwriting policies.
• Support Business, Risk Operations in meeting the long term goals of the respective businesses.
