Depot Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Ensuring smooth Day-to-Day fleet operations and optimal fleet routes to ensure non disruptive service
• Prepare and supervise daily vehicle deployment schedule, Driver allocation and ensure strict adherence to the Trip start time.
• Properly plan and ensure regular & timely vehicle charging and cleaning schedule.
• Supervising and guiding team of Route Supervisors, Charging staff, Drivers and all other support staff.
• Take regular follow up report regarding vehicle cleanliness, charging status, trip logs, trip time adherence, trip route adherence and other necessary feedback to ensure smooth fleet operation.
• Maintain record of all the documents submitted by the staff while joining the depot operations.
• Keep an up-to-date record of depot maintenance, fire safety provisions, vehicle status, drivers' fitness status, drivers' training needs, etc.
• Preparing Daily / weekly reports, submitting the same to the Depot Manager / Depot MIS..
• Proactive in directing subordinate staff for action to be taken in case of bus breakdowns, accidents and other vehicle casualties/ other issues in depot functions.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with 2 - 3 years of experience of effectively managing Day-to-day activities in Depot of Public Transport system (Electric Buses). Candidates having experience in Electric Vehicle Fleet management will be preferred
