Demand & Supply Planning

Role & responsibilities

• Develop short- and long-term demand forecasts using historical sales, market trends, and statistical tools.
• Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to incorporate promotional plans, new product launches, and market insights into forecasts.
• Prepare and maintain supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, production capacity, and material availability.
• Monitor inventory levels, replenishment requirements, and slow-moving or excess stock to optimize inventory.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, and Logistics to align manufacturing schedules and ensure timely product availability.
• Track forecast accuracy, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to improve planning efficiency.
• Drive monthly demand reviews and S&OP activities to align demand, supply, and business objectives.
• Identify supply risks, delays, and potential shortages, coordinating with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Prepare periodic planning reports and dashboards for management review.
• Support continuous improvement of planning processes, tools, and systems.

Preferred candidate profile

We are looking for a candidate with 3+ years of exp. in Demand Forecasting & Supply Planning, with an MBA qualification (mandatory). The candidate should have hands-on experience in analyzing historical sales data, preparing demand forecasts, developing supply plans, monitoring inventory levels. Candidates residing near NSP, Pitampura, Delhi will be given preference.
