Delivery Manager

Hiring for Loan Operations role , with candidate either based in Bangalore & Gurgaon

Role & responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in Loan IQ Deal Closing activities for both Bilateral and Syndicated Loans
• Independently review and analyze Loan Agreements, Credit Agreements, Amendment Agreements, Fee Letters, and other legal documentation to extract key deal parameters required for accurate setup and closing of transactions in Loan IQ.
• Perform end-to-end setup and maintenance of:
• New Deals and Facilities
• Borrowers and Lenders
• Pricing and Interest Rate Schedules
• Primary Allocations and Position Management
• Drawdowns, Rollovers, Repayments, and Prepayments
• Funding and Settlement Processing
• Rate Fixings
• Fee Setup, Accruals, Collections, and Payments
• Interest Collection and Distribution
• Validate deal structure and transaction details against legal documentation, ensuring all Loan IQ records are accurate and compliant with approved terms and conditions.
• Coordinate closely with Front Office, Middle Office, Agency Services, Treasury, Operations, and Back Office teams to facilitate seamless deal closing and funding activities.
• Ensure all transactions are processed within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and completed on the same business day whenever required.
• Monitor and manage open items, exceptions, and pending actions, ensuring timely resolution within established deadlines.
• Conduct proactive follow-ups with agents, relationship managers, and internal stakeholders for missing approvals, or documentation.
• Perform detailed Nostro Account Reconciliations, identifying and resolving unmatched cash movements and settlement breaks.
• Execute Past Due Reconciliations and investigate outstanding balances, interest discrepancies, and unresolved exceptions.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, operational procedures, audit requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
• Support month-end and quarter-end reporting activities, MIS reporting, exception management, and operational risk controls.
• Maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail while managing multiple transactions under strict deadlines and high-volume environments.
• Demonstrate advanced knowledge of Loan IQ functionality, syndicated loan operations, loan lifecycle management, and cash reconciliation processes.

Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives, automation efforts, and best practice implementation within the loan operations function.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10 + years of relevant Deal Closing and Loan IQ experience
• Ability to work in a matrix environment and managing multiple competing priorities
• Strong risk & control mindset, knowledge of investment banking products including loans, strong project management skills.
• Strong problem solving and investigative skills to undertake analysis, resolve issues/problems related to loans operations.
• Candidates should be open to work in night shifts.
• Strong verbal & written communication to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
• Understanding of Commercial Lending lifecycle with excellent understanding of Loan Agreements and other loan documents
