Job Summary

Responsibilities What Youll do In the role of Delivery Manager - Engineering at Principal Financial Group, you will be working hand-in-hand with our product development team, you will interpret user needs and transform them into clear technical specifications. Coordinate, direct, and finalize projects/initiatives according to business objectives. Lead one or more engineering teams to achieve remarkable value for the business.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Manage and deliver the project as per contractual agreement.
• Essential Functions % of Time Spent Delivery Management 1. Planning and estimation, scheduling, task allocation, monitoring control, reviews
• Provide domain and technical leadership, Knowledge Management
• Relationship Management and Partner Satisfaction 40
• Process improvement adherence
• Establish and continually improve project management and execution processes including Risk Management, communication,, defect management prevention
• Status reporting, metrics generation analysis
• Staffing, onboarding, Skill building, Back-up Planning
• Employee Satisfaction
• Mentoring team members
• Handling appraisals and feedback
• Direct Reports:Consultants, Associate Consultants and Trainees
• Will usually have 8-20 direct reports and will be responsible for their personnel management
• Can handle projects where various types of skill sets (technology) is used as well as distributed teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate - Bachelor s degree (Engineering) or Masters in Computers or relevant
• Experience: 10 to 13 years of IT application development experience with 1 or 2 years in Delivery Management is recommended.
• Skill: Must Have: Java, Springboot

• Must have good interpersonal and excellent customer service skills
