Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.
- Oversee proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines for the department. Ensure equipment is utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
- Oversee the daily operation of our deli & kitchen departments to ensure customer service standards are met. This includes the coordination of all department staff.
- Prepare products consistently following predefined recipes, as well as developing new prepared food options.
- Source new department-appropriate products to keep things fresh and interesting.
- Work closely with other staff members to maintain department goals.
This position may perform other duties as required.
- At least two years previous working experience in a related field.
- Ability to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
- Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
- Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.
