Role: Mainframe Developer

Years of experience required: 6+ years in Mainframe development

Location: Chennai - Sholinganallur

Work Mode: Hybrid - 4 days in a week

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Develop, enhance, test, and support mainframe applications. 
• Work on batch and online systems using mainframe technologies. 
• Analyse issues, perform debugging, and provide production support. Lead technical design, code reviews, and development activities. 
• Mentor team members and ensure coding and delivery standards are followed. 
• Collaborate with business, QA, architects, and project teams. Prepare technical documentation and support release activities.

Job Requirements :

• 6+years of experience in Mainframe Development with expertise in Cobol, JCL, SQL, and DBMS (DB2).
• Resource should have hands-on and coding experience in mainframe technologies and should be able to provide break fix/development activity as well.
• Experience in Mainframe production support is required.
• Understanding of IMS DB/DC/ENDEVOR systems on mainframes is preferred.
• Experience working with big data technologies such as Big Query for reporting purposes.
• Proficiency in Java programming language is an added advantage.
