About this role
- A boutique investment and advisory firm is hiring for a role that sits between promoters who need capital and investors who deploy it.
Key responsibilities:
- Originate and identify investment opportunities across growth-stage and established businesses
- Build and maintain relationships with promoters, founders, CXOs, CFOs and business owners to generate a pipeline
- Understand the company's business, growth plans, capital requirement and investment proposition; evaluate opportunities commercially and assess suitability for specific investors
- Develop and maintain relationships with VC funds, family offices, AIFs, PE funds and strategic investors
- Lead investor outreach and syndication on identified opportunities; coordinate discussions between company and investors
- Manage the deal pipeline from origination through investor engagement, due diligence, negotiation and transaction closure
- Support transaction structuring and negotiationsMust have: a live investor network you personally hold and can call
- named VC funds, family offices, AIFs, PE funds
- and evidence of opportunities you personally sourced.
- An execution-only banker with a strong deal sheet but no origination record will not clear.
