DCS Engineer

• Process monitoring and control through DCS to ensure safe and stable plant operation.
• Alarm monitoring and timely response to process deviations.
• Process optimisation through trend monitoring and appropriate parameter adjustments.
• Identification of abnormal parameters and timely escalation to SIC/responsible departments.
• Coordination with Field Operators during critical jobs and operational activities.
• Execution of normal and emergency plant start-up/shutdown operations.
• Ensuring all critical trips, interlocks and permissives remain healthy and available.
• Monitoring process/equipment trends and identifying potential abnormalities.
• Maintaining shift logs and ensuring proper shift handover.
• Raising maintenance notifications for equipment/instrumentation issues as required.
• Promptly escalating critical situations, trips and abnormal plant conditions to the Shift In-Charge (SIC).
• Adherence to SOPs, HSE and process safety requirements.

Job Requirements :

• 8-15 years of experience in designing, developing, testing, and commissioning DCS systems for industrial processes.
• Strong understanding of ammonia processing operations and familiarity with relevant safety protocols.
