DC Service Engineer Data Centre Operations & Maintenance

Role & responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day Operations & Maintenance (O&M) of Data Centre physical infrastructure.
• Inspect, monitor and maintain electrical, HVAC, civil and other facility systems.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance and troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Monitor UPS, DG sets, electrical panels, cooling systems and integrated BMS, as applicable to assigned responsibilities.
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors and client representatives for timely incident resolution.
• Maintain equipment checklists, maintenance logs, shift reports and service records.
• Follow site safety procedures, maintenance schedules and operational protocols.
• Support 247 Data Centre operations through rotational shift duties.

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E./B.Tech. or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• More than 4 years of relevant experience in Data Centre infrastructure Operations & Maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, civil infrastructure, LAN, safety/security and integrated BMS-related systems.
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance, breakdown troubleshooting and incident handling.
• Ability to maintain technical records and coordinate with vendors and maintenance teams.
• Candidates with Data Centre physical infrastructure O&M experience will be preferred.
• Willingness to work in 247 rotational shifts at Hebbal, Bengaluru.
