Data Modeling (Highest Priority)
- Dimensional modeling (Kimball methodology)
- Star and snowflake schema design
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 & 2)
- Conformed dimensions
- Fact, dimension, bridge, and factless fact tables
- Data warehouse design patterns
Snowflake
- Advanced SQL
- Query optimization and performance tuning
- Data sharing, security, and access control
- Data governance best practices
dbt
- dbt Core and/or dbt Cloud
- Staging, intermediate, and mart layer design
- Testing, documentation, and exposures
- Incremental models
- Git workflows and CI/CD practices
Analytics Engineering
- Translating business requirements into reusable data models
- Building semantic and business-friendly datasets
- Data lineage and impact analysis
- Data quality and testing frameworks
Data Warehousing Experience (High Priority)
Experience designing analytical models for:
- ERP systems (Deltek, CMiC, SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Financial and accounting data
- Payroll and HCM data
- Project management and construction data (preferred)
- Procurement and vendor management
- Cross-system integrations and master data alignment
