About this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support DB2 databases on Mainframe z OS
- Monitor database performance and perform tuning activities
- Manage database objects backups recovery and maintenance tasks
- Support application teams with SQL optimization and database changes
- Execute DB2 utilities such as REORG RUNSTATS LOAD and RECOVER
- Troubleshoot database issues and resolve production incidents
- Ensure database security availability and data integrity
- Support application deployments migrations and release activities
- Perform capacity planning and storage management
- Prepare documentation SOPs and provide L2 L3 production support
