DB Developer - Mumbai (Thane- Hiranandani Estate)

Role & Responsibilities

• Design & Model Data: Design, develop, and maintain scalable relational and dimensional data models to support analytics, reporting, and ML workloads.
• Develop & Optimize SQL: Write, optimize, and refactor complex SQL stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers for high-throughput OLTP and OLAP environments.
• Collaborate on Data Pipelines: Collaborate with Data Engineers and BI teams to build ETL/ELT pipelines ensuring data accuracy, lineage, and performance at scale.
• Enforce Data Governance: Implement data governance standards — including referential integrity, indexing strategies, and partitioning — across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL databases.
• Resolve Performance Issues: Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks using query plans, indexing, and schema tuning — with emphasis on minimizing latency and resource consumption.
• Automate Deployments: Contribute to CI/CD workflows for database deployments using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or Liquibase — ensuring version-controlled, testable schema changes.
