About this role
Roles Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using IBM DataStage.
- Analyze business requirements and convert them into technical ETL designs.
- Develop and maintain DataStage jobs, sequences, and job routines.
- Extract, transform, and load data from various source systems to data warehouses and reporting platforms.
- Perform data mapping, data validation, and data quality checks.
- Optimize ETL job performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Work with databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
- Create and maintain technical documentation and deployment procedures.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Support production releases and provide post-deployment support.
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IBM DataStage Development.
- Strong knowledge of ETL concepts, Data Warehousing, and Data Integration.
- Experience with DataStage Designer, Director, Administrator, and QualityStage.
- Expertise in developing parallel and server jobs.
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Experience with data modeling concepts and data migration projects.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting.
- Understanding of job scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or Tivoli.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- MCA,MSc,MTech,BTech
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Certification in IBM DataStage is an added advantage.
