Database Trainee

Role & responsibilities

• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve, insert, update, and delete data.
• Work with tables, relationships, views, and basic database objects.
• Perform data validation, cleaning, and consistency checks.
• Create SQL queries using JOINs, subqueries, GROUP BY, and aggregate functions.
• Assist senior team members in database maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Test SQL queries and database changes to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain database documentation and follow data security and integrity standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Basic interest in databases and SQL.
• Willingness to learn SQL, database concepts, and database tools from the beginning.
• Good logical thinking ..
• Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with MS Office is an advantage.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take training and guidance.
