Database Engineer

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in customer-facing technical, consulting, technical support, solutions engineering, or customer success roles.
• Strong hands-on experience with distributed databases and complex data platforms.
• Deep understanding of relational databases, SQL, database architecture, and query optimization.
• Strong hands-on SQL experience, including query analysis and performance tuning.
• Experience working with complex enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of Linux and cloud environments.
• Experience with several technologies across the modern data ecosystem, such as:MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, Oracle, or other relational databasesNoSQL / Key-Value databasesKafkaCloud storage such as S3CDC and replicationKubernetesObservability / monitoring platformsBackup, restore, HA, and DRUnderstanding of cloud networking, security, encryption, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of Python or another scripting language is desirable.Customer & Consulting
• Proven experience working directly with enterprise customers, preferably in international/global environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage technical customer escalations and drive issues through resolution.
