Database Developer

Experience: 6+ Years (4+ Years in PLSQL development must)

Location: Gurgaon (Hybrid) Job description: We are seeking a Database Developer with a proactive attitude towards learning, collaboration, and improvement together with strong expertise in Oracle SQL/PLSQL. The ideal candidate is up for a challenge, a self-starter, and a team player. They will work on database-centric and batch-oriented applications, and contribute to scripting, automation, and critical risk management systems.

Required Skills:

• A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new technologies and concepts in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player.
• Strong and proven proficiency in Oracle SQL/PLSQL, functional and technical.
• Experience with PowerShell or Unix Shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Control-M for batch job scheduling.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate effectively with our business parters to understand requirements, support testing, and provide updates.
• Develop and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL code, based on business requirements.
• Create and maintain scripts using PowerShell or Unix Shell scripting.
• Manage batch jobs using Control-M.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure high-quality deliverables in a structured SDLC environment.

Good to Have:

• Familiarity with Moody’s Risk Foundation or similar risk platforms.
• Familiarity with Credit risk
• Basic experience with Python for scripting or automation.
• Exposure to AWS cloud services.
• Exposure to AWS Glue and DBT
