Job Description: SQL Developer

We are looking for highly competent SQL developer and fundamentals of DB administration to join our team to help drive the ongoing development of our cloud-based technology projects.

This position requires extensive experience in writing DDL and DML SQL queries for SQL server database. Candidate should have atleast 6+ years of experience. Should have experience in viewing and analysing the query plan in SQL server to improve the performance.

Key Role/Responsibilities:

· Designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

· Design, create, and implement database systems based on the end user's requirements.

· Improve application's performances.

· Prepare documentations for database applications.

· Develop database objects such as schema, tables , Views, Functions, Stored Procedures,dictionaries etc.

· Ensure the data quality and integrity in databases.

· Fix any issues related to database performance and provide corrective measures.

· Provide authentication and authorizations for users in Azure Directory and SQL Server/DB level.

· Develop best practices for database design and development activities.

· Must have some experience in Index management including maintenance.

Required Skills:

· Strong experience in developing complex functions, scripts, stored procedures and triggers to support application development.

· Expert knowledge in SQL server administration

· Strong knowledge in query optimization and performance tuning.

· Should have some experience in Transaction and deadlock analysis.

· Good to have experience in SQL Management Studio and Azure.

· Experience developing applications with Agile team methodologies preferred.

· Sufficient experience with Git to organize a large software project/scripts
