Mode of Work - Remote Employment Type - Part-Time

Experience Required - Minimum

4+ years of relevant experience in database development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions and database objects.
• Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
• Manage and support MySQL and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Perform database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Design database schemas and data models based on business requirements.
• Monitor database performance, availability, and data integrity.
• Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Support database deployment, migration, and version upgrades.
• Collaborate with application and engineering teams for data integration and troubleshooting.
• Identify and resolve database-related performance issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum

4+ years of hands-on experience in MySQL and PostgreSQL.

• Strong expertise in SQL programming and query optimization.
• Experience in database design, indexing, normalization, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Experience in database backup, restore, and recovery.
• Understanding of database security, permissions, and access control.
• Experience in data migration and ETL processes.
• Good understanding of Linux environments.
• Experience using Git / version control systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
