Hi, Greetings for the day, Urgently looking out for candidates for Database Architecture with one of my esteemed client for Bangalore, Coimbatore & Chennai location Manage and administer MySQL and MariaDB databases across OnPrem environments Linux and AIX and AWS Cloud platforms Provide 24x7 production support in a rotational shift model ensuring high availability and quick incident resolution Perform installation configuration upgrades patching and maintenance of database environments Implement and manage backup and recovery strategies using tools like mysqldump and Percona XtraBackup Configure and maintain replication setups masterslave mastermaster and clustering solutions such as Galera Cluster Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness for critical database systems Perform performance tuning including query optimization indexing and database parameter tuning Monitor database performance and health and implement proactive ing mechanisms Execute database migrations including onprem to AWS and version upgrades with minimal downtime Work on AWS services such as RDS Relational Database Service Aurora MySQL EC2hosted databases and CloudWatch monitoring Ensure database security access control and compliance with organizational standards Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams for issue resolution and performance improvements Automate routine DBA activities using shell scripting or Python Maintain database documentation operational procedures and audit readiness Demonstrate strong experience working in Linux environments and exposure to AIX systems Good to have Handson experience in PostgreSQL database administration including installation backup performance tuning and replication
