The position requires continuous monitoring and troubleshooting to resolve issues promptly, ensuring optimal database performance and reliability. Collaboration with various teams to align database functionality with business requirements is also a key aspect of the daily routine, fostering an environment of efficiency and stability within the data infrastructure.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in database management to enhance system performance and security.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to understand database requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Professional & Technical Skills

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Financials.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, backup and recovery techniques, and performance tuning.
• Experience with database security management and compliance standards.
• Ability to automate routine database tasks using scripting languages.
• Familiarity with data migration and integration processes.
• Skilled in monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities to maintain database health.

Additional Information

• The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Financials.
• This position is based at our Gurugram office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
