Project Role Description : Design, implement and maintain databases. Install database management systems (DMBS). Develop procedures for day-to-day maintenance and problem resolution.

Must have skills : Oracle Applications DBA

Good to have skills : MySQL, PostgreSQL

Minimum 3 Year(s) Of Experience Is Required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing and configuring database management systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability. The professional develops and follows procedures for routine maintenance and swiftly addresses any issues that arise to minimize downtime. Collaboration with various teams to understand database requirements and provide reliable solutions is a key aspect of daily activities, ensuring data integrity and security throughout the system lifecycle. Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
• Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
• Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
• Monitor database performance and implement changes to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Ensure data security and compliance with organizational policies and standards.
• Assist in the planning and execution of database upgrades and migrations.
• Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance when needed. Professional & Technical Skills:
• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL.
• Strong knowledge of database architecture, backup, and recovery techniques.
• Experience in performance tuning and troubleshooting database issues.
• Familiarity with database security best practices and access control.
• Ability to automate routine database tasks using scripting languages. Additional Information:
• The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Applications DBA.
• This position is based at our Chennai office.
