Job Description:
Strong hands-on RDBMS (MySQL/MariaDB/PostgreSQL) and practical NoSQL (MongoDB/Aerospike/ClickHouse/Redis) are both mandatory for this role.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain different databases like MySQL OR MariaDB OR PostgreSQL AND MongoDB OR Aerospike OR ClickHouse.
- Ensure databases are available and performing well.
- Manage backup and recovery so data is not lost.
- Handle replication and database security.
- Troubleshoot database issues and improve performance.
- Work closely with Engineering, Application, DevOps and Infrastructure teams.
