Job Summary
We are looking for a Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain the organization's business-critical databases, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL databases.
- Manage SAP ERP, AEGIS, and MES databases.
- Perform database backup, recovery, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Monitor database performance and optimize queries.
- Manage Always On, Clustering, and Replication.
- Handle database security, user access, and patch management.
- Monitor database health and resolve production issues.
- Support application deployments and database changes.
- Automate routine database administration tasks using SQL, PowerShell, or Python.
- Support Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (BI) initiatives.
Required Skills
- 4 to 6 years of Database Administration experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and MySQL.
- Experience in Performance Tuning, Backup & Recovery, AlwaysOn, Clustering and Replication.
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure databases is an added advantage.
Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
