Role Summary:- We are seeking a Database Administrator to support the implementation, administration, maintenance, and performance of enterprise database systems.

Key Responsibilities:-

• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain database systems.
• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Manage database backup, recovery, and restoration activities.
• Support high availability and cluster/failover database environments.
• Investigate and resolve database-related incidents and technical issues.
• Support database security and administration activities.
• Maintain relevant technical documentation and operational procedures.

Skills & Requirements:-

• Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• 3?5 years of relevant experience in database administration and enterprise database environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with

Microsoft SQL Server (essential) .

• Experience with

MySQL and/or Oracle will be advantageous.

• Knowledge of database installation, upgrades, maintenance, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with

database backup and recovery , including tools such as

Symantec NetBackup .

• Knowledge of high-availability and cluster/failover technologies, such as

Microsoft Cluster and

SQL Server Always On .

• Experience with database security tools such as

Imperva Database Firewall will be advantageous.

• Good analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
