Database Administrator - Oracle

We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA to join our Database Operations team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing enterprise Oracle databases, ensuring high availability, performance optimization, backup and recovery, and production support. If you have strong expertise in Oracle RAC, RMAN, ASM, and Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), we'd like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases.
• Administer Oracle RAC environments for high availability.
• Perform database backup and recovery using RMAN.
• Manage ASM storage and database capacity planning.
• Monitor database health and performance using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), AWR, and ADDM reports.
• Perform SQL tuning, index optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Configure and support Oracle Data Guard environments.
• Create and manage database users, roles, privileges, and security policies.
• Troubleshoot production database issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure database availability, reliability, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and support teams.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Requirements:

• Required Skills: Oracle Database Administration, Oracle RAC, RMAN, ASM (Automatic Storage Management), Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Data Guard, Performance Tuning, AWR and ADDM Reports, SQL Plus, Backup and Recovery, Production Support, Oracle 19c / 12c, Linux Administration.
• 3-8 years of Oracle DBA experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in Oracle RAC administration.
• Experience with RMAN backup and recovery.
• Expertise in ASM storage management.
• Experience in database performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of production support environments.
• Good understanding of database security and user management.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Preferred Skills: Oracle Advanced Security, Oracle Data Safe, Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler, Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Confluence, SharePoint.
