Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Database Administrator role based in Germany. Canada immigration consultants in delhi | visa consultant delhi. The Database Administrator will manage and maintain databases used for client information, immigration case tracking, and internal operations, ensuring data integrity, performance, and security. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring database performance, performing backups and recoveries, managing user access, and implementing database design changes to support evolving business requirements. The role involves troubleshooting database issues, optimizing queries, configuring and maintaining replication where required, and collaborating with technical and operations teams to ensure reliable data availability. The Database Administrator will also document database procedures, adhere to data protection and compliance standards, and support reporting and analytics needs.
Qualifications
- Strong database administration skills, including hands-on experience with Databases and Database Administration.
- Ability to design and optimize database structures, with practical knowledge of Database Design.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving issues, with solid Troubleshooting experience in database environments.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining Replication and other high-availability features.
- Knowledge of SQL and at least one major RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
- Understanding of data security, backups, disaster recovery, and compliance best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
