Job Summary:

The Data Visualization Developer designs, develops, and maintains enterprise-grade analytics

solutions, with Qlik Sense as the primary platform. This role translates business requirements

into robust dashboards, data models, and automated reporting workflows that drive data-driven

decision-making across the organization. Deep proficiency in Qlik Sense is essential to success

in this position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Qlik Sense applications including data models, load scripts,

dashboards, and interactive visualizations.

• Build and optimize QVD-based data architectures using incremental load patterns and best practice BI layering.

• Write advanced set analysis expressions, calculated dimensions, master measures, and

complex aggregations.

• Develop and maintain ETL processes via Qlik load scripts connecting to relational

databases, flat files, REST APIs, and cloud data sources.

• Build and maintain integrations between Qlik and third-party systems including SharePoint,

ERP platforms, and data warehouses.

• Develop scheduled reports and distributions using Qlik Reporting or equivalent reporting

tools.

• Perform code reviews, unit testing, and participate in system and regression testing cycles.

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and functional teams to translate requirements into

technical specifications and scalable BI solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across development, test, and production Qlik

environments.

• Maintain technical documentation including data model specs, load script logic, and

dashboard runbooks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

• 3–5 years of Qlik Sense development experience.

• Proficiency in Qlik load scripting, QVD architecture, and data modelling best practices.

• Strong working knowledge of set analysis, master items, and advanced chart expressions.

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is mandatory — including ingesting, transforming,

and validating Excel-based data sources.

• Familiarity with SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, or similar) and database query optimization.

• Experience connecting Qlik to enterprise data sources including ERP systems, flat files, and

REST APIs.

• Good business communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in Qlik Sense application development, customization, and enterprise

deployment.

• Experience with Qlik Cloud / SaaS.

• Proficiency with Qlik Reporting for scheduled reporting and distribution.

• Knowledge of Python, Power Automate, or SharePoint for complementary automation

workflows.

• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and change management processes.

• Experience with data governance, data cataloguing, or Qlik Data Catalog is preferred.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail and stakeholder communication skills.

• Qlik Sense certification (Business Analyst or Data Architect) is an added advantage.
