Data Validation & Reconciliation Specialist

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Validation & Reconciliation Specialist with hands-on expertise in Alteryx, Advanced Excel, Python, and SQL.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for extracting, validating, reconciling, and analysing large datasets across enterprise systems to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity. The role involves investigating discrepancies, automating validation workflows, and collaborating with technical, functional, and global stakeholders.

Mandatory Skills

• Alteryx: Workflow development, data cleansing, transformation, and automation.
• Advanced Excel: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, complex formulas, and data comparison techniques.
• SQL: Data extraction, joins, queries, validation, and reconciliation.
• Python: Basic to intermediate scripting, modifying existing scripts, and data processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Extract and analyse transactional and master data using SQL.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation across multiple systems.
• Develop and maintain automated data validation workflows using Alteryx.
• Use Advanced Excel for data analysis, comparisons, and discrepancy identification.
• Execute and modify Python scripts to support data processing and validation.
• Investigate data mismatches, identify root causes, and coordinate issue resolution.
• Document validation results, findings, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with technical teams, business stakeholders, and overseas clients.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across reporting and planning datasets.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Anaplan models, modules, and formulas.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA and SQL-based backend data extraction.
• Experience in financial, operational, or planning data reconciliation.
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise datasets and workflow optimization.
• Experience working with global clients or international stakeholders.
