Seeking a Specialist with 6 to 12 years of experience in data testing and ETL concepts to ensure data quality and integrity across complex data environments with Python.
Job Description
Ensure accuracy reliability and consistency of data through rigorous testing of ETL processes and data pipelines Validate data transformations and loading processes to meet business requirements Develop and execute detailed test cases and automated scripts for data quality verification Identify document and track data discrepancies and errors collaborating with cross functional teams for resolution Perform data profiling and quality analysis using SQL and automation tools Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results and generate detailed reports Support continuous improvement of data testing methodologies and tools Ensure compliance with data governance and quality standards throughout testing cycles
Roles and Responsibilities
Define and implement test strategies plans and scenarios specific to data testing projects
Independently create and execute formal test plans test scripts and test data
Lead end to end data testing efforts for critical business projects including defect management and status reporting
Collaborate with developers analysts and stakeholders to resolve data quality issues
Coordinate testing activities across onsite and offshore teams managing multiple vendors
Act as escalation point for testing related issues and challenges
Utilize project management and bug tracking tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps to monitor test execution and defect resolution
Mentor junior testers and promote best practices in data testing and quality assurance.
