Your Role Data & AI Strategy Consultant

• Conduct comprehensive current state analysis of existing data systems, processes, and frameworks of an organization.
• Provide strategic recommendations and design target state for optimizing data-related processes, structures, and systems.
• Define and evolve the enterprise AI strategy and operating model aligned to business outcomes.
• Build multi‑year AI roadmaps covering advanced analytics, machine learning, and generative AI capabilities.
• Assess emerging AI and GenAI trends, foundation models, and competitive capabilities to inform strategic direction.
• Advise executive leadership on AI investments, risks, trade‑offs, and value realization.
• Prioritize AI initiatives based on ROI, feasibility, explainability, regulatory risk, and time‑to‑value.
• Provide strategic guidance on AI platforms and architectures, including cloud analytics, ML platforms, feature stores, vector databases, and model registries.
• Establish and operationalize Responsible AI principles covering fairness, transparency, explainability, robustness, and human oversight.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory, privacy, and ethical requirements, especially in regulated domains.
• Drive organization‑wide adoption of AI governance frameworks, controls, and metrics.
• Participate in Data / AI Maturity assessments. Drive CXO conversations effectively.
• Lead and facilitate engagements in data governance, establishing policies, procedures, and frameworks to ensure metadata, master data, data quality, security, and compliance.
• Utilize expertise in cloud technologies e.g., GCP, Azure, and AWS, to guide and implement data strategies in cloud-based environments.
• Help in providing tools/technology advisory to customers by creating market scan reports, technology comparison frameworks and selection, creating technology architecture.
• Drive RFI/RFP and presales engagements. Lead and contribute to offerings development, provide thought leadership.
• Leverage BFSI – Banking, Finance, or Insurance industry knowledge to drive business discussions, identify industry wise data strategy challenges and provide industry specific best practices.
• Utilise domain specific regulatory or compliance requirements to frame tailored data strategy, data policies and principles – BCBS239, Basel III or general GDPR.
• Utilise industry contextual knowledge to derive domain specific use cases for analytics or AI/ML applications.
• Good understanding of data science and machine learning/AI concepts Own overall coordination with business and delivery stakeholders from a functional perspective. Manage and mentor a team of consultants and execute people management activities.

Your Profile

• 13 + years of experience in Data, AI, Analytics, Digital Strategy, or related roles.
• Proven experience leading enterprise-wide data or AI initiatives in large or complex organizations.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, generative AI, data modeling, data engineering, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP).
• Demonstrated success in building strategies, business cases, and multi-year transformation roadmaps.
• Experience in governance, data management, regulatory frameworks, and AI ethics.
• Strong communication and executive‑level influencing skills.
• Certifications in cloud (Azure Data/AI, AWS Analytics, GCP), AI/ML, or enterprise architecture.
• Experience with GenAI platforms, LLM integration, and prompt engineering. Consulting or transformation of leadership background.
